WIDOW Announce New Drummer

Raleigh, North Carolina-based melodic metallers WIDOW have announced the addition of ex-ELDRITCH HORROR drummer John Placko to the group's ranks. He will play on the new WIDOW album, which the band are set to begin recording in September for an early 2007 release.

In other news, WIDOW have announced a one-off gig in New York on Saturday, July 8 at the Continental in Manhattan. Also appearing on the bill are ICARUS WITCH and GOAT HORN.

WIDOW's latest album, "On Fire", was released in Europe in October on Cruz Del Sur Music.
